Duration & Structure:
The training consists of 5 modules, each lasting 3 days, held once per month. It spans 6 months and is practice-oriented.

CHF 4,500 (including internship, exam, and certificate)
Payment in installments: +15% surcharge
Module Content:

Module 1: Anatomy & Physiology of the Digestive Tract
Fundamentals of the gastrointestinal system, mucous membranes, digestion, absorption, and secretions.

Module 2: Microbiology of the Digestive System
Bacteria, fungi, parasites, and their roles in the body. The microbiome from mouth to anus.

Module 3: Case History & Pathologies
Stool diagnostics, microbiome analysis, symptom mapping, and conditions such as leaky gut, IBS, colitis, and skin disorders.

Module 4: Treatment & Therapy Planning
Symptom prioritization, developing therapy plans, supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions.
Module 5: Marketing & Practice Development
Target audiences, positioning, practice concept, communication, and networking.
Certification:
After passing the final exam (minimum 80%) and completing a thesis including client support and a 2-month internship with Edna Schur, participants receive the certificate “Microbiome Coach.”
